Continuing Education Information

California Landscape Technicians
It is mandatory that all California Landscape Technicians (CLT) renew their certification once a year. The renewal fee is $25 and must be accompanied by proof of 2 educational points or 1 educational point and one service point. California Certified Nursery Professional
Along with a $50 renewal fee, all California Certified Nursery Professionals (CCNPro ™) are required to obtain 10 CEU’s (Continuing Education Units) every two years. These credits can be obtained through quizzes drawn from the content of Nursery Pro magazine, passing advanced certification exams, attending CANGC sponsored tours, seminars and conferences, and helping with the program as qualified protectors. Certified Pest Management Professional
The Continuing Education Center for Pest Management (CECPM) has been established through a cooperative effort of the California Agricultural Production Consultants Association (CAPCA), the Pesticide Applicators Professional Association (PAPA) and the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR). This governing body, CECPM will manage the continuing education database for all licensed and certified pest management professionals in California. If you have questions about your CEU’s or for membership inquiries please contact: PCA’s should call CAPCA (916) 928-1625 and QAL’s or QAC’s should contact PAPA at (831) 442-3536.

International Society of Arboriculture
The Western chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (WCISA) offers CEU’s for its members. There are many different avenues through which to obtain credits: seminars, ISA publications, in-house training from your company, and college courses are just a few. The International Erosion Control Association
The International Erosion Control Association is a non-profit, member organization that provides education, resource information and business opportunities for professionals in the erosion control industry. The association’s 2,800 members represent 52 countries and 17 fields of professional practice.
